26/27/28 April 2023. Great opportunity of mutual enrichment for IC Villar Perosa (TO), IC Cavour (TO), IC San Mauro Torinese 1, IC Andorno Micca (BI) and Casa dell’Autismo di Candelo that hosted prof. Ryuichi Yorozuya and Kimiko Yorozuya from Sapporo University of Education for a job shadowing experience. The Japanese team have been visiting primary schools in our area for nine years as they are interested in the teaching of English at early ages through creative approaches and in inclusion of special needs students. During the educational visit, they had the opportunity to observe CLIL classes, activities based on picture books and drama, gardening, European partnership videocall and escape rooms, materials and projects about inclusion of special needs and autistic children (approaches, nethodologies, augmentative communication,vparents/teachers and class support, etc.). They had also the opportunity to visit our resource center at IIS Prever in Pinerolo and to visit natural beauties.

It is always an enrichment having new people to interact with, making children discover the continents and working on the picturebook “Handa’s surprise”.
